TranSend pre-payment card shortlisted for major industry award

A unique method of payment issued by TransSend, a subsidiary of the I.T.F Finance Group, has been shortlisted for a major industry award.

TransSend's Net+ card is a prepaid MasterCard that is available both for use as a virtual card in online transactions, and a physical card that can be used in ATMs. It has been launched onto the market by Neovia Financial, which is based in London.

Richard Jones, TransSend's Chief Executive Officer, explained: 'We provide clients with online payment solutions across a range of market sectors. Our products range from widely used payroll methods to bespoke products for niche market applications. The Net+ cards use the Neteller e-wallet as their loading account. This is the first time an e-wallet has been used as a loading mechanism for both a virtual and a physical card.'

The Net+card has been nominated for 'Best New Prepaid Card Product Launch' at the prestigious 'Cards & Payments', Europe's leading cards and payments conference and expo, which will be held in Prague on 18th June 2009.
